Selenite is said to be a powerful healing crystal that promotes peace and calm, mental clarity, and well-being. It's also believed by some that this crystal can remove negative energy and help you connect to higher realms. Selenite has a long history of being a beloved goddess stone and is said to bring protection, harmony, and soul healing to your body, mind, and home. Selenite can also be an amazing stone for shifting through energy blocks, bringing peace and purity to one’s head and heart, and generally just ensuring that you stay protected and connected to the world around you. It is a stone that is great for clearing energy from other crystals I always keep one close with my collection.

Crystal Care 
Selenite cannot be cleaned with water but do use sound, moonlight and sage burning. Brown rice also works well for absorbing negative energies. You can also use visualisation to clear crystals by holding them in your hands and imagining them being filled with a bright white light which is the technique I currently use with Reiki. It is not advised to recharge Amethyst and some other crystals with sunlight as this can cause sun damage and remove the colour always double check to avoid damage to your crystal.
Selenite is a great crystal for clearing negativity and can be used to clean and recharge other crystals. Selenite is a soft stone that should be kept away from water.
